What is a Co-operative?

Is a collective entity, freely established, with variable capital and membership, without profitable goals which, through co-operation and mutual aid among its members, aims at meeting the needs and economical, social and cultural expectations of those, in compliance with the Co-operative principles.

The main goal of a Consumption Co-operative is to supply to its members and families, in the best conditions of quality and price, goods or services designed for their direct consumption or use. While running its operation, Consumption Co-operative should respect and promote the defence of consumer rights and environmental protection.
